Our Services

Psychedelics—also known as hallucinogens—are controlled substances and can cause changes in mood, cognition, and perception. As such they are not without risk. For this reason, Psychedeliccouch adopts a two-step harm-reduction approach:

Preparation Sessions: For those considering a journey with psychoactives we typically offer three-to-four initial sessions. These sessions are geared toward “preparing” you for your experience. Sessions will focus on your intentions for your journey, information about the substance, including its potential risks, current research, and what to expect.

Integration Sessions: After your experiential with your chosen substance, we assist you with identifying and exploring the insights, feelings, sensations, images, and thoughts originating in your journey. The goal of Integration is to take advantage of your heightened and frequently transformative experience so that the new material can be integrated into your daily life. In this way the parts of the journey that you hold sacred, healing, and expansive can continue to evolve and impact your thoughts, feelings, and actions, both personally and professionally, allowing the journey to continue. Support for non-ordinary states of consciousness is an intentional approach that supersedes the purely recreational activity. It allows for meaning-making of the expanded states during the journey. Throughout the process Psychedeliccouch provides a harm-reduction approach that prioritizes safety, respect, and the integrity of each individual.

We offer remote services in New York and New Jersey and in-person services in New York City, where we are located.

** Please note: Psychedeliccouch does not participate in any experiential activity with the client. We are not present for administration of your psychoactive substance, and we do not make referrals related to accessing the experience.
