The Psychedeliccouch Therapists

Psychedeliccouch therapists Renata Turetsky LCSW/R and Anne Yarowsky LCSW/R met while providing psychotherapy to 9/11 first responders to Ground Zero. Anne and Renata were dedicated to the treatment and care of the first responders who presented with PTSD, depression, anxiety, and panic, among other disorders. In order to treat this special population, Anne and Renata were trained in multiple modalities to address the complications of severe trauma. Eventually both Renata and Anne transferred their skills to their private practices. As a result of our commitment to continue to find cutting-edge clinical trainings to learn new ways to alleviate our clients’ suffering, we became Certified Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Providers in 2024.

Our Values

Creativity

Beyond well-established clinical interventions and techniques, we employ creativity in clinical practice, when appropriate. We incorporate drawings, poems, books, podcasts, art, and a variety of creative exercises, all aiming to aid the expansion of self-awareness and change, following a mind-expanding journey.

Compassion

Compassion is an integral part of our practice. It fosters understanding and connection with clients in a deeper way. It allows for a safe, non-judgmental space, promoting a strong therapeutic alliance. It is the antidote to prejudice, shaming, and blaming

Confidentiality

Our practice is fully HIPAA-compliant. Clients’ personal information and privacy are paramount.

Harm-Reduction

When it comes to mind-altering substances, Psychedeliccouch embraces the non-condoning and non-condemning characteristic of the harm-reduction approach, thus helping individuals to make more informed decisions about risks and safety.
